As women living in the 21st century, we experience multi-faceted lives – moving back and forth between juggling children, cultivating a relationship with our spouse or significant other, taking care of our finances, taking care of the home, excelling in our career, traveling with the family, performing volunteer work, and often times providing care for our parents, too.
There’s certainly a lot more going on today than there was during my Mother’s time, or my Grandmother’s. And while all this juggling can be overwhelming, we can’t lose sight of the fact that we are incredibly fortunate to be able to experience life on all levels.
We need to value the freedoms and fortune available to us: the ability to seek higher education, start a business, earn our own money, feed the hungry, improve people’s lives all over the planet.
I believe women are being called to a new level, to collaborate together and lead the way to greatness. There’s nothing that can get in the way of a group of determined women.
Our world is calling on us as women to step up, continue to learn and grow and flex our feminine-muscle to provide solutions to major challenges we are collectively facing at this time. And I, for one, want to be a part of this movement.
